Study the Patterns Behind Modern AI — at Your Own Measured Pace
Three structured courses in data preparation, model training, and long-form AI practice. Written feedback, live sessions, and a careful curriculum — no pressure, no empty promises.
Our Programmes
Three Courses, Each with Its Own Pattern
Each programme is built around a particular set of recurring concerns in AI work. They can be taken in sequence or as standalone studies.
Patterns of Data
A short course in which learners study the patterns behind data preparation, sampling, and evaluation — the quieter half of practical AI work. Weekly readings, small exercises, and written feedback.
- Data sampling and structuring techniques
- Evaluation methodology and metrics
- General Python familiarity assumed
Patterns of Training
A focused course on the recurring patterns of model training — training loops, reading training curves, and making sense of mid-training problems. Weekly live sessions with self-paced project work.
- Setting up and interpreting training loops
- Diagnosing mid-training issues
- For those with an introductory background
Long-form Pattern Practitioner
A long-running programme covering data engineering, model design, evaluation, and careful deployment in production-like settings. Structured written feedback and a final portfolio review.
- End-to-end AI development practice
- Final portfolio review with feedback
- Production deployment considerations
Why Study With Us
What Makes Suria Tech Different
Written by Working Teachers
Course material is prepared by practitioners who work in AI daily — not assembled from generic slides.
Personal Written Feedback
Every submission receives individual written commentary — not automated scoring or generic remarks.
A Logical Progression
The three courses form a coherent path — from data foundations through training to full deployment practice.
Paced for Working Adults
Weekly workloads are designed around the reality that most learners have full-time responsibilities alongside study.
Focus on Understanding
The emphasis is on understanding why things work, not memorising syntax or following scripts.
Based in Kuala Lumpur
A Malaysian school designed with Malaysian learners in mind — pricing, timing, and context are local.

Frequently Asked
Questions About the Courses
Do I need a background in mathematics or statistics to enrol?
For Patterns of Data, general Python familiarity is assumed and a basic comfort with numbers is helpful, but the course does not require prior statistics training. For Patterns of Training and the Long-form programme, having completed an introductory course is recommended. If you're uncertain, write to us and we can assess together.
Are the sessions live, self-paced, or a combination?
It varies by programme. Patterns of Data uses weekly readings and exercises at your own pace. Patterns of Training includes weekly live sessions alongside self-paced project work. The Long-form Practitioner programme blends both, with structured check-ins and independent work throughout its twenty weeks.
How much time per week should I expect to set aside?
For the six-week Data course, roughly four to six hours per week. For the Training course, closer to six to eight hours. The Long-form programme assumes around eight to ten hours weekly — it is designed for committed learners who are willing to build a sustained practice over several months.
What does the written feedback process look like?
Each exercise or submission receives a written response from a course teacher, delivered within a few days. The feedback is specific to your work — addressing what was done well, what could be reconsidered, and what to pay attention to next. It is not automated.
Are the courses conducted entirely online?
Yes, all courses are delivered online. Our office is based in Kuala Lumpur and we are happy to meet in person for consultations if you prefer, but study itself takes place through our online platform.
What is the payment structure and refund policy?
Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and can be settled in full upon enrolment. For the longer programmes, we are willing to discuss staged payment. Please contact us to discuss the specifics — we prefer an honest conversation about what works for you rather than a rigid automated process.
